The Video I made of the Pisstakers , MyBlogLog Sunday (Week 29) was great !
You Might want to UPS (Over-nite) Ed some tissue's before we dedicate it. He is going to need them.
All entries to the MyBlogLog Contest , were included in the video with my site review of the Pisstakers. Those who did promote the Pisstakers, recieved more "Footage" and was reviewed again before "the end" of the Video. The video ended with my final thoughts of why I thought people should look at this site.
The VIDEO LENGTH is 35 Minutes long, and we included as much time as we could to each entry in the MyBlogLog Contest, but not taking away why the video was created in the 1st place. It is a Website Review of the Pisstakers & what I thought of this site.
If I stay to my production schedule, the release date will be Wednesday (early) however I am trying hard to get this video out earlier. Ed posted his review early (thanx!) , and I flimed right away staying up all night to finish the "Filming". (This was 2 nights in a row)
I was very tired when the filming was done, and did not realize the video size. So here is some BREAKING NEWS :
Hang on to your mouse !
The filming took a whooping 18.1 GIG to create. It was later, cut down to 121 Meg. That was quite the compression. I did not loose any quality & audio during the conversion, and I managed to keep the 320 X 240 Format that I wanted.
The stereo (sound) of the video was eliminated. Sorry. I needed to cut alot, however no footage was cut out. Nothing. It is still all original, like the day it was recorded.
This project also required 50 Gigs of Hard Drive workspace and 2 hours of %100 CPU Time , just for the compression.
YouTube takes a 320 X 240 Video, I know this, however it does not take a file larger than 20MB. My Domain & BlogDumps both can only take up to 40MB for videos. So as you can see I have a space problem to deal with (without knocking out any more of my sites).
So I have 2 options here.
1) Cut the video in 3 parts , or "Crunch it down" some more. If anyone has any idea how to "CRUNCH" down a 121MB .AVI file down to something smaller, that YouTube will except, please contact me by leaving a message below. Please include your Email address & A link to your site, as well as the program I need and where to find it. I will find a way to thank you after this promotion is done.
2) I will keep working this problem, however, to keep the file complete, I was thinking of Zipping the file up, and let users download it from the net.
I am really unsure that to do, any comments would be appreciated !
Also, do not worry about spamming this site. Please leave your comments. I need the help, and am not worried about anything else right now.

Update : I will not be splitting the video. It will be available to download shortly.
Watch for updates !

Is this of use http://www.brothersoft.com/dvd_video/video_conversion/avi_converter_60971.html I havent used it but I think Flash files are quite small? And if the resulting flash file needs compressing this free trial sw says it will compress by 60% http://www.flashoptimizer.com/features/ Hope this helps
cheers
Ed
The flash optimizer does not allow you to save the "Optimized" file. You need to buy the software. However The AVI to flash converter did cut an additional 5 meg of that file.
This is absolutely great.
Let me scan the net for a .swf compression program, if i can chop it by %50 or more , I definately will be all set.
Thanx for the Information !
If you have anything else to add , or look at please do so !
