It takes a bit of searching to find Sergey Brin’s office at the Googleplex. Tucked away in a corner of Building #43 on this sprawling campus near the southern tip of San Francisco Bay, past rows of colorfully decorated cubicles and dorm-like meeting spaces, Office 211 has a nondescript exterior and sits far from the public eye.
The Android platform, according to OHA, is free software available under the Apache open-source license. On November 12 (Today) , a software developer's kit (SDK) will release to developers. This will be the first chance for people to see an early incarnation of the OS. Sergey Brin and Steve Horowitz discuss the availability of the SDK, that it will be open source in the future, and demo applications on the Android platform.

Woman in U-Haul leads police on wild chase
(NECN) - A woman in a reportedly stolen U-Haul truck was involved in a chase with California Highway Patrol officers. The chase lasted approximately one hour, and the woman was taken into custody.
At the end of the chase the woman stopped the vehicle in the middle of the road, and fled on foot. She attempted to gain access to the passenger side of another car, but that car drove off.
An officer caught up with the suspect, and took her into custody.
