CLASSIFIED REPORT

Leaking Classified NSA Information

Billie Winner-Davis, Reality Winner's mother, told Business Insider on Tuesday that President Donald Trump's former lawyer, Michael Cohen, is attempting legal representation to aid the former Air Force language analyst contractor and Kingsville native Reality Winner with her case.

Winner pleaded guilty in 2018 to leaking classified National Security Agency information on Russia's alleged efforts to interfere with the 2016 election. She was found guilty of violating the U.S. Espionage Act and sentenced to five years in prison at the Federal Medical Center-Carswell in Fort Worth, Texas.

In 2016 following her separation from six years of active duty, Winner was hired by Pluribus International Corporation under an NSA contract to work out of Fort Gordon, Georgia.

According to ABC News, Winner printed a classified report detailing how Russian hackers allegedly “executed cyber espionage operations” on local election systems and mailed the documents to The Intercept.

She was arrested on June 3, 2017.

Michael Cohen, who pleaded guilty to campaign violations and tax fraud in 2018, began serving his sentence in May 2019 at the federal penitentiary in Otisville, New York.

He has been under house arrest since July over coronavirus concerns.

Military.com stated that Reality’s mother sent a Twitter message that said “Cohen has asked another attorney to look at the case and for opportunities to help.”

- Complete Report -

A late arriving passenger become irate with airline workers was arrested at Phoenix Sky Harbor International and then died while in police custody. Police believe the woman , 45 year old Carol Ann Gotbaum may have accidentally strangled herself while trying to escape from her handcuffs, which held her hands behind her back. Media accounts say police had to be called after Gotbaum become angry after she was denied boarding for her US Airways flight after she arrived at the gate past the flights boarding cutoff.

The Arizona Republic writes she was rebooked on the next flight, but witnesses told police that Gotbaum got irate and began running through the terminal. Officers said they were unable to calm Gotbaum, so they arrested her and placed her in an individual holding room. She apparently forcefully resisted being handcuffs and screamed continually while in the holding room, according to the Republic. Officers went to check on Gotbaum after the screaming stopped and found her unresponsive, according to The Associated Press, which adds that medics were not able to revive her. Authorities say neither a Taser stun gun nor pepper spray were used in the incident.

After Gotbaum missed her flight to Tucson, airport workers who witnessed the incident told the New York Daily News that they heard Gotbaum yelling I am not a terrorist! I'm a sick mom! I need help! The Daily News identified Gotbaum as the the daughter-in-law of city New York Public Advocate Betsy Gotbaum. We are very concerned about what happened at Phoenix airport. It's under investigation and we are following that investigation, Betsy Gotbaum tells the Daily News. She has three very small children. It's a very delicate matter. Similar comments were made to the New York Post.

The Maricopa County Medical Examiner's Office said Carol Anne Gotbaum, 45, of New York, was acutely intoxicated on alcohol and prescription drugs when she died in a police holding room at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport on Sept. 28.

Gotbaum's blood-alcohol level of .24 percent was three times Arizona's legal limit of .08 for driving. The official cause of death was hanging, the report concluded, adding she had a history of "use of antidepressant medications with intoxication."

Gotbaum had about 35 bruises on her neck, arms and legs, including her knees and elbows, and scrapes, according to the autopsy report. Her neck injuries included "chain impressions," said the report, with police saying they found her handcuffed hands next to her neck.

I don't believe in placing blame because I think the blame falls on all of us. (yes, our society as a whole. we should all take responsiblity when tragedies happen, and use each one as an opportunity to reflect and evaluate how we can be a better community) I will say, however, that having flown extensively, that missing a flight can be very stressful. If the airline would have been KINDER and more helpful, to reassure Mrs. Gothham that they would help her find another flight, and not to worry, she will make it to her destination...you can wait here, etc...it may have saved her life. Those checkers can be so rude, inconsiderate, like they have big chips on their shoulders, in addition to being inept and unhelpful. So I would place at least as much blame on the airline as I would on police, if I were placing blame.

The Blame Game, Anonymous?

"[Carol Anne Gotbaum] had possibly tried to manipulate the handcuffs from behind her to the front, got tangled up in the process and they ended up around her neck," - Sgt. Andy Hill's story is not credible for two reasons:

1. It is impossible to lift your handcuffed hands and arms over your head from behind whether you are drunk or sober!

2. I doubt a drunk person has the mental clarity and physical ability to maneuver her arms under her feet in under 10 minutes!
