Weather forecasters at the National Hurricane Center predicted that a tropical storm that is lashing on parts in Caribbean has 30 percent chance of forming into a much stronger strorm is now heading Northwest.
The agency said that though it isstill early to make predictions as whether this impending calamity will intensify or even would reach oil-rich waters of the Gulf of Mexico,but even a tropical depression could actually cause significant and added disruption to the area.
Strong winds and waves may and can able to distribute the oil in further areas and the storm could wash more oil ashore,stated ny the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
Dennis Feltgen, spokesman for the National Hurricane Center said that it’s incredibly disorganized and cautioned that the chances of this impending storm of becoming a hurricane are slim.
